Social Media & Ethics

Mr. Jones will address why social media investigations are important to various case types, and how legal teams can avoid various ethical dilemmas. He will also discuss how to correctly locate, preserve, and authenticate online content, and why a printed copy of something online can be insufficient to produce as evidence. This seminar will cover what has happened when law firms give no guidance to their clients regarding how to handle their social media accounts during litigation.
