Michael Bostrom is an Assistant City Attorney and head of the Affirmative Litigation Division for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. His division is most well-known for its case against Wells Fargo’s practice of opening banking solutions without customer’s consent or knowledge. The successful prosecution of the case led to a historic $50 million in penalties against the bank. Mr. Bostrom is committed to effecting systemic and industry-wide change by challenging unfair and deceptive business practices under Business and Professions Code section 17200.
