This seminar will cover basic eligibility and filing requirements for K-1 (fiancé visas) and Immigrant Visa (marriage-based green cards) categories based on a relationship with a U.S. Citizen and possible alternatives. Key topics include: Eligibility Requirements for the K Visa Petitioner, Beneficiary, and Children; Same-sex Couples, Adjusting Status to Lawful Permanent Resident or Consular Processing; Conditional Lawful Permanent Resident Status; Derivative family members; Forms (I-129, I-130, I-485, etc..), Requirements and Filing fees.

LAPA is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar is approved for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit
