Ms. Sahar Shiralian, Esq.



Ms. Shiralian is an associate at Jones Bell Abbott Fleming & Fitzgerald. Her practice primarily focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Her clients encompass a wide range of industries including, but not limited to, entertainment, hospitality, leisure, financial services, insurance, and retail.

As an employment litigator, Ms. Shiralian defends employers, businesses, and management in both class action lawsuits and individual litigation concerning wrongful termination, wage and hour, discrimination, and harassment claims. 

Ms. Shiralian also provides pre-litigation labor and employment law counseling to all types of businesses. As part of this practice, Ms. Shiralian advises clients on a variety of issues, including: general employment law strategy and compliance; wage-and-hour regulations; sexual and other workplace harassment; employment discrimination claims; wrongful termination; leaves of absences; reasonable accommodations and the interactive process under the ADA; and whistleblower complaints. Ms. Shiralian also drafts and reviews employee handbooks, personnel policies, employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, and training manuals.

In addition to her employment practice, Ms. Shiralian represents clients in complex, general business, and securities brokerage litigation. Ms. Shiralian also brings a strong background in the entertainment and hospitality industries to her practice. Prior to joining Jones Bell, Ms. Shiralian worked in Television Business and Legal Affairs at Starz Entertainment and was a summer associate in the entertainment and media litigation group at Liner LLP (now DLA Piper).  She was also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of USC’s entertainment law review, USC Entertainment Law Spotlight.
